Disaster Prepardedness

Today has given us a pretty graphic demonstration that we are in the midst of a long-term weather pattern that can turn severe most any afternoon.
God’s demonstrated power is awesome to behold, but can remind us of the admonition to “fear the Lord”.
I would like to take this opportunity to remind you that there are many useful tools available to help be prepared for severe weather.  The first key to getting to safety is being aware of a threat.  I have Code Red Alerts on my mobile phone that alerts me of severe weather warnings in my area.  Radar Express is another mobile phone ap. that will allow you to pull up real time weather radar in motion wherever you are.
If you find you have any threats to your family or property due to natural or other disasters, regardless of how localized, please remember to let us know at church.  If you would like help finding and accessing the tools that are available, let me know.
Peace.
