From the Pastor

August 2, 2015

Greetings in the name of  Christ:

After a busy summer, you are amazed at how the days passed by so quickly, as the numerals evaporated from our calendar!  People find themselves once again in the clutches of a new school year.  Some will begin for the first time, others will start in new locations, even other states!  Others will only change rooms while remaining in the same facility.  But whatever the scenario, it is a time for new beginnings.  Whether it is at school, in your jobs, or at our homes, all begin a new day once again.

Here at Henry Memorial, all of us continue to turn our calendars also.  Time marches on, moving in step with the world around us.  But should HMPC be different?  Could our situation really begin anew with exciting freshness and awareness of God’s creation of all things new.  God created the heavens and the earth, and all that is in them, and pronounced them good!

Rally Day is coming up soon, then our Fall Renewal, and we’ll encounter new challenges as a Community of Faith.  Let each of us embrace the challenges before us at Henry Memorial.  May all grow in faith and in service, seeking to be the faithful body of Christ, the true head of our Church.
